BCCI Decides to Host 2027 IPL Player Auction in India

Kathmandu. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to host the player auction for the 2027 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in India. The IPL Governing Council meeting held on Tuesday (September 15) decided to hold the mini auction for the upcoming season in India.

For the past few years, the IPL auction has been held outside India. After the auction held in Kochi in 2023, subsequent auctions were held in Dubai, Jeddah, and Abu Dhabi. However, this time the BCCI has decided to bring the auction back to India.
