MP Nyaupane Questions Government on Vacant Ambassadorial Posts

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Yagyamani Nyaupane has raised serious questions about the government's working style, citing the long-standing vacancy of ambassadorial posts. Speaking in a special time during the House of Representatives meeting, he argued that the country's diplomacy cannot be strengthened by keeping ambassadorial seats vacant.

He said, 'Diplomacy does not strengthen by keeping ambassadorial seats vacant. After all, why has the government not been able to appoint ambassadors yet?' He added that the public still expects good governance and effective performance from the government, which was given a two-thirds mandate.
