Political Parties Urge Government to Name Floodwaters

Kathmandu. Political parties represented in parliament are going to urge the government to name the floodwaters that came from China's Tibet via Rasuwa's Bhote Koshi on Bhadra 10. Discussion was held about this in the all-party meeting held at Singh Durbar on Wednesday, and it was decided to suggest the government name the floodwaters.

After the meeting, in response to a journalist's query about the fact that no name has been given to the Bhote Koshi floodwaters even three weeks after the incident, while there is a practice of naming any disaster in the world, Chairman Lamichhane informed that this was discussed in the all-party meeting and it was decided to give suggestions to the government.
