Committee to Inspect Flood-Affected Holding Centers

Kathmandu. The Education, Health and Information Technology Committee is to conduct an on-site inspection of the holding centers in the areas affected by the Bhote Koshi flood. A meeting of the committee held on Wednesday decided to inspect the holding centers in Nuwakot, Dhading, and Kathmandu.

Committee Chairperson Ojaswi Sherchan informed that the inspection will be conducted in the first phase on October 3 and 4. Keeping in view parliamentary tradition, the sensitivity of the monitoring, and frugality, separate parliamentary teams have been formed for the three districts. Chairperson Sherchan, along with Achyutam Lamichhane, Bhimkumari Budhamagar, Rajan Gautam, Radhika Ramtel, and Ringla Yadav, will be members of the team to monitor the holding centers in Nuwakot.
