Teacher Convicted for Using Fake Certificates

Kathmandu. Bhojraj Neupane, accused of taking a relief teacher's job by submitting fake educational certificates, has been convicted by the Special Court. The bench of Special Court Chairman Judge Basudev Acharya and members Hemant Rawal and Bidur Koirala ruled Neupane guilty after finding him to have submitted fake educational certificates.

Neupane was working as a secondary school level mathematics (relief) teacher at Ganga Secondary School, Pere Mathachaur, located in Patarasi Rural Municipality-1, Jumla. To get appointed to that post, he had submitted fake educational qualification certificates for Proficiency Certificate Level (IA) and Bachelor's Level (BA), purportedly issued by Tribhuvan University.
