Janakpur Bus Park Faces Neglect Despite Capital Status

Janakpurdham. Madhesh Province's capital Janakpur does not yet have a single well-equipped bus park. Despite being the provincial capital, the city is chaotic due to footpath encroachment and lack of waste management, and the absence of a systematic bus park causes hardship to passengers traveling to and from Janakpur.

The bus park area is currently very foul-smelling. Due to potholes on the roads within the bus park, pedestrians' clothes get muddy when vehicles pass by. As a result, passengers do not want to enter the bus park. Therefore, the bus park is now only being used as a vehicle parking area. Very few general people come to the bus park to buy tickets or board buses.
