Government Spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel Discusses Relief Efforts for Flood and Landslide Victims

Kathmandu. Government spokesperson and Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Sasmit Pokharel, has informed that various ministries are working for the relief, rescue, and rehabilitation of citizens affected by floods and landslides. He said this while talking to journalists while releasing the decisions of the Council of Ministers meeting held on Wednesday.

He clarified that citizens who have become homeless due to floods are currently kept in holding centers and temporary housing arrangements are being made for them. The Ministry of Land Management has already started searching for land to relocate those affected whose houses and land have been completely damaged, he informed.
