Indradhwoja Symbol Brought to Votahiti for Indrajatra

Kathmandu. The symbol of Indradhwaja, brought from Nala Community Forest of Bhaktapur for Indrajatra, has been brought to Votahiti. Every year on the second day of the waxing moon of Bhadra, the tradition is to start the forest journey at the auspicious time given by the Nepal Panchanga Nirnayak Vikas Samiti and go to the forest to cut the tree for the linga.

Accordingly, the team that went at the auspicious time of 9:53 AM on Sunday, Bhadra 28, cut a pine tree from Nala Community Forest and brought it to Votahiti. After reaching the forest, the tree was worshipped with a sword and khadga, and at the auspicious time given by the committee itself, the tree was cut and brought at 8:47 PM on Sunday, Bhadra 28.
