Manaslu Expedition Begins with 466 Climbers

Gorkha. The ascent of Mt. Manaslu for the autumn season has begun. 466 climbers from various countries who took permission for this season started their ascent from last Tuesday.

From the 39 groups, 342 men and 124 women have departed from the base camp for the ascent. Climbers' assistant Bisbahadur Gurung informed that the ascent was initiated after a Lama guru performed a puja at the base camp. Gurung stated that the climbers are expected to complete their ascent within the next one to three weeks.
