Gaur Massacre case sent to Justice Regmi’s bench

KATHMANDU, June 5: The writ against the Gaur Massacre case has been sent to the bench of Justice Kumar Regmi. The writ was filed in the Supreme Court by Tribhuwan Shah demanding legal action against the perpetrators of the massacre.

On 21st March 2007, 28 Maoist members were killed when the Madhesi People’s Rights Forum and the CPN-Maoists organized their programs in the same place at the rice mill in Gaur, Rautahat. The leaders, workers and criminal groups associated with the Forum were claimed to be involved in the massacre.
