FC Barcelona Secures 7-2 Victory Over Racing Santander in La Liga

Kathmandu. In a Spanish La Liga match held on Thursday, top-ranked FC Barcelona secured a resounding 7-2 victory over Racing Santander. Brazilian winger Raphinha scored a hat-trick in Barcelona's one-sided win. Barcelona took the lead in the eighth minute of the match at their home ground. Joao Cancelo scored to give the team an early lead. In the 25th minute, Raphinha converted a penalty to make Barcelona's lead 2-0. In the 30th minute, Racing Santander's MaGuet Gueye scored to bring the game to a 2-1 situation. However, in the 36th minute, an own goal by Racing's Asier Villalibre gave Barcelona a 3-1 lead. Immediately after, in the 42nd minute, Raphinha scored his second goal, putting Barcelona in a strong position by halftime. In the second half, the visiting team Racing attempted to get back into the game with a goal by Yassir Zabiri in the 65th minute. But two minutes later, in the 67th minute, Barcelona received another penalty. Raphinha converted this penalty to complete his hat-trick. Towards the end of the match, Barcelona scored two more goals. With goals from Gabriel Jesus in the 79th minute and Lamine Yamal in the 89th minute, Barcelona ensured a spectacular 7-2 victory. With this win, Barcelona remains at the top of the league, while the defeated Racing Santander is in tenth place.
