30 Road and Bridge Projects in Sudurpashchim Province Remain Incomplete

Dhangadhi. Construction of 30 roads and bridges, contracted years ago in Sudurpashchim Province, has not yet progressed. Repeated extensions of deadlines have not led to progress by the construction entrepreneurs, identifying these projects as 'sick contracts'.

According to the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development of the province, among the sick contracts, 6 are related to bridge construction and 24 to road construction. These contracts were awarded from 2076 to 2080 through various infrastructure development offices.
