Government Accelerates Federal Civil Service Bill Preparation, Awaiting Public Service Commission Consultation

Kathmandu. The government has accelerated its preparation to bring the Federal Civil Service Bill. The government is awaiting the consultation of the Public Service Commission before finalizing the bill.

The bill is being introduced with the objective of managing aspects such as the formation, operation, service conditions, career development, transfer, and promotion of federal civil service. Preparations are underway to include various provisions in the bill to make the civil administration more organized, capable, and accountable according to the federal structure.
