MP Yashoda Kumari Baral Criticizes Government Over Severe Gas Shortage

Kathmandu. CPN UML MP Yashoda Kumari Baral has drawn the government's attention to the severe gas shortage in the country and strongly criticized it. Speaking in today's House of Representatives meeting, she expressed anger, stating that the government and responsible bodies are unaware while the public is starving. “Does the government have any attention towards the condition of the public? The public has started to starve,” MP Baral questioned, “Did the previous government put people in a gas chamber and kill them? Has today's government started killing the public by starving them?” MP Baral demanded answers from the government regarding the reason for the public not getting gas, the justification for price hikes in the market, and the public remaining hungry. Questioning the work of the government that talks about morality, she said, “Why are those who seek the morality of the previous government silent today? Is morality about the public dying?” MP Baral urged Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal to instruct the government. “Why are the public's problems not being solved? Why is there a gas problem? We need immediate information about this. Through the respected house, I demand that the government be instructed,” she said. Mentioning that citizens are becoming increasingly disappointed and victimized, MP Baral drew the attention of Prime Minister Balendra Shah to be serious and immediately deliver gas and basic relief materials to the public.
