UML expels Bhim Rawal, suspends membership of Binda Pandey and Ushakiran Timsina

The UML had sought clarifications from Pandey, Timsina, and Rawal for criticising the party’s decision to accept a donation from controversial businessman Min Bahadur Gurung.

The CPN-UML has expelled former vice-chair Bhim Rawal and suspended politburo member Binda Pandey and central member Ushakiran Timsina for six months. The party’s secretariat meeting on Wednesday decided to revoke Rawal’s general membership and suspend Pandey and Timsina over their public dissent regarding a donation to the party.
