Kathmandu ahead in cooperative fraud cases, Gandaki tops volume of financial embezzlement

KATHMANDU, Dec 3: The Nepal Police filed 19 cases of cooperative-related fraud at various courts across the country in the first four months of the current fiscal year, with the Kathmandu Valley recording the highest number of cases. Police records show that Gandaki Province emerged as the worst hit region in terms of financial volume.
