CIAA Annual Report: Cases filed against 990 defendants seeking recovery of funds

Kathmandu, Sept 17: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) filed cases at the Special Court during the fiscal year 2082/83 against 990 defendants for various offenses.
In addition to seeking imprisonment and fines, the Commission demanded the recovery of Rs 25.23 billion from the accused.
