Weather Forecast: Monsoon and Western Winds Influence Nationwide

Kathmandu. Currently, there is a partial influence of monsoon winds along with western winds across the country, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated. The low-pressure line of the monsoon is south of the average position. As a result, the sky is generally cloudy across the country. Light to moderate rainfall is occurring in some places in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and in one or two places in Koshi province. Today, the sky will be generally cloudy across the country. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall in some places in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in a few places in the mountainous regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in many places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in some places in the hilly regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in a few places in the Terai regions of the country. There is a possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two places in the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Tonight, the sky will be generally cloudy in Koshi province and in the mountainous and hilly regions of the country, and partly cloudy in the remaining Terai regions. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in a few places in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, and in one or two places in the mountainous regions of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in some places in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, in a few places in Bagmati province, and in one or two places in the hilly regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
