Nepali Congress Factionalism Weakens Baglung Organization Ahead of 15th General Convention

Pokhara. As the upcoming 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress draws near, the organization in Baglung has been weakened due to central factionalism. Leaders are divided into the party's establishment and rival factions.

District President Jeet Sherchan has been relieved of his duties, with a Vice President being given acting responsibility on Wednesday after the central committee did not advance the convention process by the announced date. Sherchan is currently the Finance Minister in the Gandaki Province.
