Nepali Films Gear Up for Bumper Release in October

Kathmandu. The month of Ashwin is considered the most fertile time of the year for the Nepali film industry. Films released in this month, which also coincides with Nepal's biggest festival Dashain, have been doing good business.

Looking at the release schedule so far, a total of 12 Nepali films, big and small, are preparing to hit the theaters this Ashwin. While this Ashwin looks like a grand festival of films for the audience, it appears to be a tough box office test for producers and distributors. With at least 2 to 4 new films clashing in theaters every week, there is interest in the film sector about who will win the audience's hearts and who will secure their investment.
