Russia Begins Three-Day Parliamentary Elections Amid Ukraine War

Moscow. Voting has begun in the parliamentary elections in the far eastern region as the start of Russia's three-day election. This election is taking place in the fifth year of the war with Ukraine.

This is Russia's first parliamentary election since Moscow sent troops into Ukraine in February 2022. With the election fully controlled, the victory of President Vladimir Putin's party is almost certain.
