National Assembly Chairman Dahal: BRI is a project for the common benefit of Global South countries

Kathmandu. National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal has said that China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is an important project for the common benefit of the Global South countries.

Speaking at the release ceremony of the Nepali version of 'Records of the Western Regions of Tang' in Kathmandu on Friday, Chairman Dahal mentioned that Chinese President Xi Jinping has put forward the concept of BRI with the aim of transforming China into a modern and prosperous nation and connecting the world.
