CPN UML Youth Leader Kshitiz Thebe States Abundant Youth Leadership Potential Within Party

Kathmandu. CPN UML youth leader Kshitiz Thebe has stated that there are plenty of youth leaders capable of leading the party. Speaking to journalists at the Singha Durbar complex on Friday, leader Thebe said that UML is the most organized party, hence there is no shortage of youth to lead. “The party is undergoing generational transition, we have been including youth in every committee by keeping a special quota for them since before,” said leader Thebe, “Others are just learning from us.” He also stated that there are enough youths in UML. “We youths are sufficient in UML. We have youths capable of leading the country, and there are plenty of youths within the party too,” he said, “UML is the party that has been advancing youth by giving them quotas in the central committee, provincial committee, and district committee since the very beginning.” Regarding Home Minister Sudhan Gurung's statement that he has come to teach politics to old parties, Thebe said, “They have only been ministers for a few months, there is a long time. We have to wait and see what politics is.” He also said that the public has been listening to and watching the previous statements made by Minister Gurung. “Gen Z said in the movement that I am not a politician. They said politics is strange, I am learning, now they have reached a position to teach, not to learn!” said Thebe.
