6 Soldiers Killed in Pakistan Bomb Attack; 10 Suspected Militants Dead in Raids

Islamabad. Six soldiers were killed when a bomb planted on the roadside exploded on a security forces vehicle in northwestern Pakistan. The Pakistani army and police said on Friday that 10 terrorists, suspected to be members of the Pakistani Taliban, were killed in separate actions by security forces after the incident.

Local officials said the bomb attack targeting a security forces vehicle took place on Thursday in Hangu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Six soldiers were confirmed to have died in the explosion.
