Indian National Arrested with 1.4kg Gold in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Police have arrested one person with 1 kg 400 grams of illegal gold from Bhedasingh, Kathmandu. According to SP Rameshwar Karki of the Valley Crime Investigation Office, Indian citizen Manik Das was arrested with one kg four hundred grams of gold and jewelry.

Police stated that the gold was illegal. Police said that 7 lakh 50 thousand cash was also recovered from his possession. Manik was reportedly operating a 'Tanch House' in Bhedasingh.
