Nepali Congress Proposes Integrated Development for Gandaki Province

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress has stated that Gandaki Province should move forward in an integrated manner with tourism, agriculture, and climate change risk management for its overall development. Speaking at the National Assembly meeting on Friday, Congress Parliamentary Party leader Kamala Pant expressed the view that the glorious history of Gandaki Province should be made the foundation of economic prosperity.

MP Pant discussed Gorkha not only as the birthplace of Nepal's unification and a symbol of bravery but also as a historical place to seek justice. She proposed developing Gandaki Province as an 'integrated tourism circuit' rather than confining it to a single city or limited destinations. "After tourists arrive in Pokhara, a tourism circuit should be built to reach Gorkha, Manaslu, Lamjung, Manang, Mustang, and then Baglung, Parbat, Myagdi, and Nawalpur," she said.
