Nepali Woman Rescued After 11 Months Stranded in India

Birgunj. A Nepali woman who was stranded in Muzaffarpur, Bihar state of India, has been safely rescued after 11 months. Her rescue was carried out with the coordination of the District Police Office, Parsa, and a special initiative by the Manavsewa Ashram, Birgunj team.

Parsa police spokesperson DSP Chakrabahadur Mall informed that the rescued woman is 36-year-old Sanumaya Tamang from Thansehi Rural Municipality, Dhading. After being safely rescued and brought to Birgunj, she has been handed over to her family.
