Communist Party Highlights Discrimination Against Madhesh Province

Kathmandu. The Communist Party of Nepal has stated that the Madhesh Province is being discriminated against by the state in its development and prosperity. Speaking in the National Assembly meeting, party MP Urmila Aryal complained that the Madhesh Province, which accounts for the second largest share of the country's total population, is being left behind in every sector.

Highlighting the condition of Madhesh Province, MP Aryal said, 'According to statistics, the population density of Madhesh Province is 633 people per square kilometer, which is much higher than other provinces. However, this province is being left behind in economic and social development.'
