China Urges Iran to Control Houthis After Saudi Appeal

Beijing. It is claimed that China has internally urged Iran to control the Houthi rebels at the request of Saudi Arabia.

According to three Iranian sources, cited by Reuters, Saudi Arabia sought China's help after the Houthis intensified military activities in the coastal areas of the Red Sea and around Bab al-Mandeb in the past week.
