Minister Sah Emphasizes Investment-Friendly Mining Law for Industrial Transformation

Kathmandu. Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Deepak Kumar Shah, has stated that the 'Mines and Minerals Bill, 2083' should be developed as a legal basis to connect Nepal's mineral sector with industrial transformation by making it investment-friendly.

Minister Shah expressed this view during the theoretical discussion on the bill in the meeting of the Industry, Commerce and Labour and Consumer Interest Committee held on Friday. He mentioned that if the bill is investment-friendly, foreign investors can be attracted within the next one year.
