One Dead, Several Injured in Philippine High School Shooting

Manila. At least one person has died and several have been injured in a shooting incident at a high school in the southern Philippines on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred at Banga National High School in South Cotabato province in the Mindanao region.

Local rescuers and Red Cross health teams reached the school premises after the incident. The exact number of deaths and injuries has not yet been clarified. Local media and government officials have released different figures. The identity of the shooter has also not been disclosed.
