Far-Western Province Government Yet to Present Budget

Dhangadhi. The Far-Western Province government has not yet presented the budget for the current financial year (2083/084). Even after a month since the formation of the new government, it is not clear when the provincial government will present the budget.

Khagaraj Bhatta, who was appointed Chief Minister on Shrawan 29, had been saying that the budget would be presented by the end of Bhadra. However, even with the arrival of Asoj, the work of rewriting the budget has not been completed. The Ministry of Economic Affairs has stated that the process of studying the budget and plans of each ministry and rewriting the budget based on needs is currently underway.
