Over 59 thousand people in flood-affected region being vaccinated against cholera

Kathmandu, Sept 18: Oral cholera vaccination (OCV) has been intensified in the flood-affected region.

The latest report released by the Family Welfare Division under the Department of Health Services on ‘Regular Immunization Services in Flood-Affected Areas and Monitoring of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases’ mentions that 59,732 people received vaccines in the flood-affected areas of Rasuwa and Nuwakot.
