Nepal should bring the Rasuwagadhi-Bhotekoshi flood to the United Nations as a focal case for climate-related loss-and-damage support. Its message should be clear: Nepal seeks international cooperation to recover from verified losses, protect communities, safely rebuild essential infrastructure and reduce the risk of another trans-boundary Himalayan disaster.
