Prithvi Highway Damaged by Bhote Koshi Flood

Chitwan. The Prithvi Highway along the Trishuli river bank has been damaged in several places by the Bhote Koshi flood. Due to river erosion, the road has subsided, filled with mud, and landslides have occurred, due to which this highway could not be fully operational for a long time.

The road at Krishnabhir, which subsided due to the flood on Bhadra 14, came into operation after 18 days. It took four days to clear the road in the Galchi area after the road was filled with mud from the flood on Bhadra 10. The 64-kilometer road section from Mugling to Galchi is mostly along the Trishuli river bank.
