Grand 'Vishvamedh Shri Vidya Koti Archana Mahayagya' Begins at Pashupati Area

Kathmandu. The historic 'Vishvamedh Shri Vidya Koti Archana Mahayagya' (World Sacrifice of Ten Million Shri Vidya Offerings) began on Friday with the aim of establishing the Pashupati area as an international center for Vedic tradition and penance.

The Mahayagya will continue from today until Falgun 4th at the Nepal Veda Vidyashram within the Shri Pashupatinath Temple premises in Bankali, intended to promote religious tourism by recognizing Nepal globally as a center for Tantric practice and spiritual energy.
