Sashastra Prahari Seizes Smuggled Goods Worth Rs 17.5 Lakh in Parsa

Parsa. A team from the Armed Police Force on regular patrol has recovered mobile parts and clothes smuggled and hidden from various places in Parsa, worth Rs 17,56,990. Mobile parts worth Rs 6,98,450 have been recovered from Naikathola of Birgunj Metropolitan City-1. Two individuals had fled, abandoning the goods brought in by customs evasion from India. Similarly, clothes worth Rs 10,58,540 hidden in a cowshed at Sabaiṭhwā in Pakahāmainpur Rural Municipality-5 have been recovered. The recovered goods have been handed over to the Birgunj Customs Office, informed Armed Police Deputy Superintendent Prakash Chandra Bhatta.
