Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit by Truck in Siraha

Siraha. A pedestrian has died after being hit by a truck in Siraha. In Naraha Rural Municipality 3, Choharwa, on the East-West Mahendra Highway, local pedestrian Ramprit Mandal, approximately 55 years old, died after being hit by a goods-laden truck numbered Na.4 Kha 8504.

The pedestrian died on the spot when the truck, going from east to west, hit the pedestrian, the police said. The truck and driver that hit the pedestrian have been taken into police custody.
