Tensions Escalate in Yemen as Houthi Group Reports Saudi-Led Coalition Airstrikes

Yemen. Tensions between the Houthi group and the Saudi-led coalition have further intensified in Yemen. According to the Houthi group's military spokesperson Yahya Saria, Saudi fighter jets carried out 26 airstrikes in the southwestern Taiz province in the last 24 hours.

According to him, approximately 300 airstrikes have occurred in 9 provinces of Yemen this week. Saudi officials have not yet responded to this. Meanwhile, fierce ground fighting has been reported in the Kahbub mountainous area of Lahij, near the Bab al-Mandab Strait. Clashes are also ongoing in the Taiz and Marib regions.
