Rasuwa Flood Devastation: Hundreds of Students Missing, Schools Destroyed

Kathmandu. One hundred students studying at Nilkantha Secondary School, Bogatitar in Uttargaya Rural Municipality Ward No. 5 of Rasuwa are missing. The exact number of missing students has not yet been ascertained. Although a hostel building with a capacity of 200 students is available, the school has not been able to operate.

Headmaster Madhav Lamichhane said that although the school is in a safe place, more than an estimated one hundred students are still missing and their search is no longer considered possible. He said that although some students were found by checking holding centers and relatives' homes, there is no place left to search.
