Famous Wild Elephant 'Ronaldo' Found Dead in Chitwan National Park

Chitwan. The famous wild bull elephant 'Ronaldo' has been found dead in the Sauraha-Khorsor area of Chitwan National Park. Ronaldo, about 53 years old, was found dead near Bishahajari Post and was cremated according to religious rites.

During the post-mortem, an electric wire was found in the elephant's mouth, raising suspicion that it may have died from electrocution. However, the exact cause of death will be confirmed only after investigation, said Avinash Thapa Magar, Conservation Officer and Information Officer of Chitwan National Park.
