Communist Party Coordinator Prachanda Notified of Print Media Advertising Fund Cut

Kathmandu. The attention of the Coordinator of the Communist Party of Nepal and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has been drawn to the reduction in the amount received by print media for welfare advertising in the name of amending the work procedure.

A team led by General Secretary Ram Prasad Dahal of the Federation of Nepali Journalists submitted a letter of attention to Prachanda. The team included Chairman Shobha Aryal, Vice-Chairman Hem Bahadur Rana, Secretary Ramesh Kumar Bohora of the Kathmandu branch of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, advisor and central member Surya Subedi of the branch, and members of the 'Save Print Media Suggestion Task Force' formed by the branch, Tank Karki, Bishwaraj Kirat, Sita Pokharel and Kalpana Khadka, as well as senior journalists.
