Senior Advocate Tika Ram Bhattarai Alleges Government Attacks Constitution's Basic Structures

Kathmandu. Senior advocate Tika Ram Bhattarai has alleged that the government itself is attacking the basic structures of the constitution. Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on the occasion of Constitution Day, he emphasized that the government should function in accordance with the constitution.

His statement was that the government should not run the constitution according to its will. He clarified that these issues are the basic structures of the constitution, mentioning that questions are being raised about federalism, republic, secularism, and the character of an inclusive state in recent times.
