Five Arrested for Forcible Rape of Minors in Jhapa, Kapilvastu, and Kailali

Kathmandu. Police have arrested five people on charges of forcible rape of minors in various places in Jhapa, Kapilvastu, and Kailali. The police teams dispatched from the respective police offices have taken them under control based on the complaints filed by the victims. Manish Sah, 25, of Sapatoli, Damak Municipality-7, Jhapa, was arrested on Friday afternoon on charges of forcible rape of a 16-year-old girl. Police from the Damak Area Police Office took him under control based on the complaint. Similarly, two more people have been arrested in Jhapa on charges of forcible rape of a 15-year-old girl. Those arrested are Deepak Bhujel, 23, of Baugundhura, Gauradaha Municipality-9, and Ramit Jhagar, 21, of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-17, Sunsari. The Gauradaha Area Police Office team arrested them on Friday afternoon. Raju Singh BK, 44, of Chandrachowk, Shivaraj Municipality-5, Kapilvastu, has been arrested on charges of forcible rape of a 16-year-old girl. The police team from the Chandrachowk Ward Police Office took BK under control on Friday afternoon immediately after a complaint was filed. Similarly, Binod Dahal, 31, of Bijayanagar, Godavari Municipality-1, Kailali, was taken into police custody on Saturday afternoon on charges of forcible rape of a 17-year-old girl. The team from the Malakheti Area Police Office arrested Dahal. Police have started necessary investigations into all the arrested accused.
