Government Aims to Make All Schools Safe and Resilient by 2030

Kathmandu. The government has set a goal to end the situation where the learning of thousands of children is disrupted every year due to earthquakes, monsoon floods-landslides, epidemics, and various daily security risks.

The Ministry of Education and Sports has issued the 'Comprehensive School Safety Master Plan, 2082' to make all schools in Nepal safe and resilient by 2030. The Department of Education made the master plan public through its website on October 1st.
