Low-Pressure System May Affect Nepal, Meteorologists Say

Kathmandu. Meteorologists have stated that the low-pressure system developed in the eastern part of the Bay of Bengal may also affect Nepal.

Meteorologist Tek Bahadur Dhami of the Nepal Meteorological Department said that a low-pressure system has formed in the eastern part of the Bay of Bengal, namely the North Andaman Sea and its surrounding areas. He stated that this low-pressure system is strengthening and moving west-northwestward.
