Former Minister Laxman Bahadur Pandey Under Investigation for Bribery Allegations

Pokhara. UML has formed a committee to investigate the former minister accused of a bribery deal to grant permission to operate a 100-bed hospital at Padam Nursing Home in Nadipur, Pokhara.

A committee has been formed to investigate Laxman Bahadur Pandey, who was previously the Health Minister from UML. Allegations have surfaced that then-Minister Pandey, his personal secretary Yadav Poudel, and Health Ministry Secretary Dr. Yuwanidhi Basoula engaged in a bribery deal during the process of granting permission to expand Padam Nursing Home from 50 to 100 beds. The investigation committee was formed after news about this emerged in the media.
