Flood Update: 1436 Confirmed Dead, Thousands Missing in Rasuwa

Kathmandu. Fifteen local levels in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, and Gorkha and their residents were affected due to the flood in Bhote Koshi.

On Bhadra 10, as the flow of the Lhende River suddenly increased, an unexpected flood occurred in Bhote Koshi and Trishuli in Rasuwa. So far, 1436 people have been confirmed dead in the flood. The bodies of 103 people found on the banks of Bhote Koshi, Trishuli, and Narayani have been identified. 6,145 people are missing due to the flood.
