US Appoints New Envoy to Venezuela Amid Diplomatic Efforts

Kathmandu. A US diplomatic source told AFP on Thursday that the United States has appointed a new head of its embassy in Venezuela.
The Trump administration has appointed former Ambassador to Nicaragua and Honduras, Laura F. Dogu, as the new head in an effort to strengthen close ties with Venezuelan interim President Delcy Rodríguez.
