Police Arrest 26 Individuals Across Various Locations for Illegal Drugs

Kathmandu. Police have arrested 26 people with illegal drugs from various places in the country and made them public today. Police teams deployed from the concerned District Police Offices on Saturday and today arrested 26 people with illegal drugs in Kathmandu, Kanchanpur, Chitwan, Rupandehi, Sunsari, Bardiya, Morang, Jhapa, Banke, Ilam, and Bara.

The Central Police News Room stated that in Kathmandu, 410 milligrams of a substance resembling brown sugar and cash Rs 5,000 were seized from Prayogmarg, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-31, and Vinod Kumar Bik, 38, of Bhojpur Municipality-8, Bhojpur, Lalitpur, residing in Lubhu, was arrested. Additionally, 210 tablets of Nitrazepam and 168 tablets of Spasmo, controlled drugs, were seized from Sarlahi Kaudena Municipality-7 Sakraun, and two individuals, including an 18-year-old minor from the same house, were arrested from Sarlahi Kaudena Municipality-7 Sakraun and Farping Buspark, Dakshinkali Municipality-5.
